I I X I
The weather started off with great promise on Sunday. But the further north we drove, the further south things went. I made this image during a brief pause in the weather. (So brief, in fact, that there are a few raindrops hitting the water.)

Palouse in the Rain
A steady rain greeted us the evening that we arrived on the Palouse. When I made this image, the camera was all wet, save for the front element (which I took great pains to keep dry because a wet front = the end of the clicking 😉 ).
Thanks so much to Ryan McGinty, who took time from his weekend to guide and shoot with us.
