Waves to the Shore

One of the things that calms my heart is shooting by the water at sunset on a mellow evening, watching and listening to the waves roll ashore. In this interpretive piece, I tried to capture the feeling of such an evening.

I shot this on a cold, clear winter evening, right after the sun had dropped below the horizon. They say the hour after sunset is magical. This was one of those evenings.

West Point Light

I shot this on a cold, clear winter evening. That’s the West Point Light in the background. You can’t really see it in this smallish image but there is a faint glow on the silhouette of the tree trunks that I just love.
