I went out to the tulip fields to scope out locations for a sunrise shoot. The light when I got there was just too good to not snap a few.

Olympic Gold

I shot this profile of the Olympic Mountains on a gorgeous afternoon on Whidbey Island, a couple of hours before Sunset at High Tide. It had been cold and gray when I left Seattle but as I headed north, fortune smiled upon me.

10 Seconds

I made this exposure on a gorgeous Spring morning. The oblique sunlight illuminated these sprouting maple leaves for about 10 seconds and then was gone. I was lucky to have been there.
