I’ve been in the tropics for the past couple of months and missed most of the change in the seasons. Home now and did some strolling this past week. I was fortunate to catch these scenes. Thank goodness for stragglers and dilly-dallyers 😉

    • Thank you! Forest floor was a beast to shoot and process because I had pigheadedly left my tripod at home. To get most of the leaf in focus, I had to shoot at a smallish aperture, which in turn meant bumping the ISO to 3200.

      • Well, it handled the high ISO very well, or you did a terrific job of cleaning it up afterwards.

      • Thanks. I have been test shooting Nikon’s new D600. It handles high ISOs very well…all the way to 6400.
